From Houston: Scenic Route
Take Hwy 290 West to Austin. In Brenham, stay on 290 Loop around West to Austin. Follow 290 W approximately 10 miles to Burton. Take a right when you see the Burton Water Tower and go into the town of Burton, TX. Go thru town and as you pass the high school, the road will turn to the right and then you will take a left on FM 1697. Follow 1697 several miles until you will need to take a left on Sandtown Road. Follow Sandtown until you get take a left on Hartstack Rd. You will see a sign for 5H Ranch on the corner. Take Hartstack over two bridges and the ranch entrance will be on the right.
From Houston: Quick Route
Take Hwy 290 West to Austin. In Brenham, stay on 290 Loop around West to Austin. Follow 290 W approximately 10 miles to Burton. After Burton, go one exit past Shortcut Rd to the right to Homeyer Mountain Rd and take right. Follow this road a couple miles until dead end and then take right on Hartstack Rd. Take a left into the property on the left when you see the only barns on the road.
From Austin:
Take 290 East until you reach Carmine, TX. On the way out of Carmine, look for the Washington county sign on the right. Right after the sign, slow down and exit the freeway to the left at Homeyer Mountain Rd. Follow Homeyer Mountain until dead ends at Hartstack Rd then take right. Our ranch is down on the left.
